Day 1
Met on arrival and transferred to Antigua Miraflores Hotel.
Day 2
Explore the Lima's most iconic streets, squares, and avenues, beginning with Love Park in Miraflores, which offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. From there, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial site from Lima’s pre-Inca culture. Your journey continues to the Plaza de Armas, home to the Government Palace and City Hall. You'll visit the Cathedral of Lima and stroll over to the Convent of Santo Domingo, walked by saints Martin de Porres and Rose of Lima in the 17th century, and where their remains are now enshrined. The tour concludes at the historic Aliaga House, where you’ll delve into the fascinating legacy of a family whose lineage spans 17 generations. Overnight stay at Antigua Miraflores Hotel (B).
Day 3
Transferred to the airport for your flight to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. You’ll then head to the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park and begin your excursion by visiting its impressive fortress, serene site where we can admire massive stones, some standing up to 4 metres tall, used in its construction. Next, you’ll visit Qenqo, an ancient temple dedicated to the Puma, where you’ll explore a ceremonial altar carved into a large rock. You’ll continue to Tambomachay, known for its sacred water fountains believed to offer life and healing. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, a former military lookout that once guarded the entrance to Cusco. Your tour continues with a visit to the Temple of the Sun, or Koricancha, upon whose foundations the Santo Domingo Convent was built. Legend says the temple was once covered entirely in sheets of gold, astonishing the Spanish conquistadors. You’ll conclude with a visit to Cusco’s main square and its majestic Cathedral, home to priceless colonial paintings and historic treasures, including the cross brought by the first Spanish settlers. Day 4
The Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes you with its charm and history. Your first stop will be the vibrant Pisac market, where you'll have free time to explore, shop for local handicrafts, and, if you’re in the mood for something traditional, enjoy a freshly baked empanada or bread from the wood-fired ovens. You’ll have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing in the afternoon to Ollantaytambo, a picturesque town that has been continuously inhabited since Inca times. There, you’ll explore the main temple, once used as a fortress during the Inca resistance. Overnight stay at Sonesta Posada del Inca Yucay (BL).
Day 5
Take a scenic train journey to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arriving at Aguas Calientes station, our staff will assist you in boarding the bus that winds up the mountain, offering stunning views of the Urubamba River and its dramatic canyon. The legendary Lost City of the Inca, Machu Picchu, awaits, captivating you with its impressive terraces, ceremonial temples, stairways, and urban sectors. The energy of this sacred site is truly palpable. After a guided tour, you’ll enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. At the scheduled time, you will take the train back to Cusco. Day 6
Transferred to the airport at Cusco to take your flight to Tumbes. Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at Arenas Mancora Hotel.
Day 7
Day at leisure. Optional activities include relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea, surfing and kitesurfing, snorkelling, fishing and from July to October you can take a boat to go whale watching. Overnight at Arena Mancoras (B).
Day 8
